In Japan, courier like Yamato Transport measures the sum of all three sides (Length + Width + Height, including wheels and handles):

Please message us on WhatsApp or email with your next hotel's address, phone number, check-in name, and check-in date at least 3 to 5 days in advance for mainland Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, etc.), or 5 to 7 days in advance for airports, Hokkaido, or Okinawa.

4. What items cannot be stored or shipped?

Per Japanese courier laws and our facility safety rules, you may not store or ship: (1) Lithium batteries & power banks, (2) Flammable, pressurized, or hazardous goods (aerosols, camping gas, liquid solvents), (3) Perishable food, liquids, or living things, (4) Fragile or easily damaged items (glass bottles, ceramics, unprotected electronics, musical instruments), or (5) Cash, passports, jewelry, and high-value items. Our facility is a secure, staff-only indoor space (non-climate-controlled). If a bag leaks, smells, or is rejected by Yamato Transport due to prohibited contents, Okaeri Locker reserves the right to refuse storage, dispose of perishable/hazardous items, and bill any courier return or cleanup fees to the customer.

5. What happens if luggage is abandoned and never claimed?

To prevent unwanted luggage dumping in Japan, plans remain on an active monthly billing cycle until you request return delivery. If a payment fails and we cannot reach you for 30 days past your paid period, the luggage is deemed abandoned under our Terms of Service, the prepaid return shipping fee is forfeited toward disposal handling, and any excess municipal disposal fees are billed to the card on file.

1. 当サービスへの往路送料（元払い）はお客様のご負担となります。お荷物が長野県の当施設に到着した際、外観の状態を撮影しWhatsAppまたはメールにてご報告いたします。配送業者による輸送中の破損等について、当サービスは責任を負いかねます。

2. 保管プランは30日ごとの自動更新となり、お客様へのお荷物返送手配が完了した時点で自動課金は停止いたします。北海道・沖縄・離島への返送には別途追加送料が発生する場合があります。

Neither Okaeri Locker nor Yamato Transport assumes liability for breakage of fragile items (such as glass bottles or electronics) packed inside luggage.
